WOW ‘wrap up a bicycle’ ($3000)
In support of our Village in Bwacha, Africa. This year the focus is on providing bicycles for their teams of volunteers who provide home based care for dying orphans and widows in Zambia and Malawi. These special people sometimes walk up to 8 hours per day to minister to their patients. A bicycle reduces that travel time by 80% and our funds will provide 10 bicycles.
gate 3:16 ($3000)
Gate 3:16 Ministry is a faith-based outreach in Oshawa providing essential support—meals, clothing, and guidance—to those 24 and up facing homelessness and poverty. With a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, it fosters hope, community, and pathways to stability. We are excited to be supporting this initiative through both financial and physical donations.
angel tree ($900)
Angel Tree provides an opportunity to extend the hope of the Gospel through the purchase of and delivery of Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents.
Pregnancy Help centre ($800)
Donations to the Pregnancy Help Centre provide gift bags to attendees, offering practical support and encouragement. These gifts, alongside a warm connection to the church, help create a safe, welcoming space for individuals seeking guidance and community as they navigate pregnancy-related challenges.
Teen Challenge ($800)
Teen Challenge Canada is a faith-based in-residence treatment facilities for women and men struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. The program focuses on spiritual, emotional, and physical healing through a faith-based approach.
Rose of durham ($800)
The Young Parent Support Centre, rooted in faith and inspired by God's abundant love, is dedicated to serving young parents and their children. Our donations will go towards their outreach programs as well as providing food and drinks for their Christmas celebrations.
operation Christmas child ($750)
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love. Our donations will cover boxes filled by our church family, as well as shipping costs.
Church in regent park, toronto ($1000)
Donations to the church in Regent Park support vital community initiatives, including food programs, youth outreach, and various social services. These contributions help create a welcoming environment and supports their weekly hot meal program.
firm israel ($750)
FIRM (Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries) is a coalition committed to supporting the Jewish people and advocating for Israel. Its mission is to strengthen the bond between Christians and Israel through education, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts, promoting awareness of Israel’s heritage and encouraging believers to stand with the Jewish community in prayer and action.
Global workers hector & ruth aragon guatemala ($2500)
Hector and Ruth Aragon, in partnership with ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas), are focused on empowering communities and sharing the Gospel in Guatemala through sustainable development. Their mission involves providing education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations.

Each day, we’ll dive into scripture, reflecting on the hope, peace, joy, and love that Christ brings. In the midst of busy holiday preparations, take a few moments to connect with God’s word and follow along with the rest of our church family.
Thank you for giving to our Christmas at King Initiatives to support those in the Durham Region and around the world. All funds contributed over and above the $18,300 target will go toward other underfunded Global and Local Board-Approved projects in our 2023 Global and Local Outreach budgets
