On Thanksgiving weekend, we will be celebrating all that God has done through King Street Community Church over the past 75 years.
It’s a time to reflect and give thanks for all that God has done as we worship Him, reminisce, and enjoy good food and good company together.
Here’s the game plan:
10am–10:30am – arrive early grab a hot cup of apple cider and enjoy our interactive photo timeline experience in the lobby, we guarantee it will bring you back in time! If you’ve participated in Operation Christmas Child—you can return your box to the display in our lobby.
10:30am–11:30am – our worship gathering begins, complete with joyful music, video story-telling, and a special message from Dr. Wayne Hilsden who is flying in from Israel. There is also children’s programming for birth–grade 5 so the kids can have their very own experience.
11:30am–1:30pm – head out to our outdoor lawn to enjoy some local cuisine from Gangster Cheese food truck company! There will be 3 different trucks for you to choose from. Kids can amuse themselves in our outdoor jumping castle, and older kids and adults who love to have fun can participate in their own blow up obstacle course! There will also be an outdoor fall themed photo booth to snap some fun pics.
The first 350 people to arrive on the morning of October 10th will receive one ticket each to be redeemed at one of the three food trucks. Register today and reserve your spot. This is also a great opportunity to invite your friends and family from the community to share in the celebration, spread the word!
UPDATE: Our 350 spots have been reserved already. If you are part of the 350 that registered, please bring a PRINT copy or ELECTRONIC copy on your phone in order to redeem one free item at the food trucks.
We are accepting walk ins even though preregistration has closed. Unfortunately the walk ins won’t be able to utilize the food trucks. We’re looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Our 75th Anniversary Giving Campaign
On Thanksgiving weekend (October 10th) we are celebrating 75 years of faithful and fruitful ministry at King Street Community Church. We are hosting Dr. Wayne and Ann Hilsden from Jerusalem where Wayne has served as Pastor of King of King's Church in Jerusalem for over 25 years, and has recently founded F.I.R.M (Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries). Wayne spent some of his formative years growing up at King Street Community Church and we're blessed to host him on our 75th Anniversary.
We hope to fill 150 Operation Christmas Child boxes to help under-resourced families around the world and we are also looking to raise $25,000 in support of various Matthew 25 outreaches in Israel through F.I.R.M. It's important that you reserve seat by registering as soon as possible, as we have limited seating for our 10:30 am worship gathering. We have some special components to our worship gathering that will be sure to inspire you as we look back in order to lean forward! Also, we have three food trucks available after the gathering, so you don't want to miss this opportunity to celebrate together.
