What comes to mind when you hear the term, generosity? A lot of people associate the word with money, however, it is so much more than that. The Bible calls us to live generous lives as we reflect Jesus in the world, and generosity looks different for everyone based on circumstances, resources, and opportunities. Whether it be relationally or financially, a benevolent spirit is a key marker in Christ-followers.
As part of Pastor Al’s talk, Be Generous, he challenged us to put the spirit of generosity into practice in a tangible way. The challenge is to take $5 this week and use it to do something intentional for someone else or to express thanks to someone in a practical way.
Here’s a link to a form that you can anonymously fill out this week, once you have completed the $5 challenge. You share details about what you did with your $5, but not mention any names.
