Coldest Night of The Year

  • King Street Community Church 611 King Street West Oshawa, ON, L1J 2L1 Canada (map)

The Coldest Night of the Year is more than just a walk—it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. This winterrific, family-friendly event brings people together to raise awareness and support for local charities doing critical work.

At King Street, we’re rallying together to show the love of Christ in action. You can contribute by donating to a team of local KSCC members or by lacing up your shoes and walking alongside them. It’s a chance to unite as a church family, connect with others, and bring hope to those who need it most. Every step makes an impact—let’s walk together for change!

We are walking for The Refuge - an Oshawa-based charity supporting at-risk youth aged 16-26. They provide essentials like meals, counselling, life skills training, and housing support, helping young people overcome challenges like homelessness and poverty. Their mission is to offer hope and equip youth for a brighter future.
