Events
Pursue is a Christian Conference for students grades 6–12 from across Central and Eastern Ontario. Pursure exists to serve and create momentum for student ministries by creating an opportunity for students to have a life-changing experience with God!
Each year, we head downtown to catch a Toronto Blue Jays game to kick off the Summer as a church family! This year, we’re going to watch the Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday, June 5th. We’ll be providing the transportation by bus to the game together and back home.
This event is for Grades 6-8. It is a four-day, three-night event, loaded with services, activities, food and fun with the churches of Ontario. Calibrate Jr. High Camp is being held at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp in Cobourg, ON. This year's theme is MARKED, where students learn that they are people marked by the Spirit of God from Ephesians 1:13.
This event is for Grades 9–12. It is a four-day, three-night event, loaded with services, activities, food and fun with the churches of Ontario. Calibrate Jr. High Camp is being held at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp in Cobourg, ON. This year's theme is DIFFERENT ON PURPOSE, where students learn that they are people created with a purpose from Jeremiah 1:4–5.
Semi-formal night is a time for students to dress up and enjoy a delicious family dinner and Christmas party! This will be our last youth night of 2023. Bring a friend and come ready to eat, play fun games, take pictures and more!
Youth in grades 6–12, join us for an AWESOME costume party! There will be fun games, small group time and of course...candy! The most creative costume wins a prize so come all decked out. Invite a friend and we’ll see you then!
Come join us for a family friendly movie, and dinner, and a chance to reconnect with old friends and meet up with some new ones. Cost for the event is $10 per person.

Water day is back! Get ready to have fun in the sun! Dress appropriately for the outdoors and bring your own water gun!
As our summer events launch, we want to kick off with a talent show! Come show your talents!
If you are in grades 6–8 (junior high), we are heading to Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp in Cobourg for 4 days and 3 nights. This will be the full camp experience of group activities, encounter services, water games, overnight stays and lots of food.
Sports day is a fun day for students grades 6-12, in the Lakeshore section, to connect over sports, pizza and prizes!
The youth rally is geared for students grades 6-12 from across the Lakeshore section. The best parts of the event is gathering together for worship, games, and a scripture talk. It's a great opportunity for students to connect with other youth & leaders in the area and intentionally connect with God.
This is an event for students to dress festive, bring a friend and celebrate the Christmas season! There will be games, prizes, Christmas music & more!
This is a free durham wide youth rally! This gives opportunity for students grades 6-12 to connect in one night. There will be worship, the word, games & a pizza after party! The bus is leaving here at 6pm on friday and will return by 11pm.
It’s going to be a great evening together full of snacks, laughter, and an entertaining movie. Come early to hangout and grab refreshments. The movie, A Dog’s Way Home, will begin shortly after sunset.
It's time to reconnect as a family at our Church Family Meal and Movie Night! Cost is $8.50 per person, and for kids under 10 the cost is $5. We will also be inspired by the movie, Overcomer. See the trailer below and register using the button.
We are so excited to be able to head to Canada's Wonderland this summer with our youth. Whether you are someone who enjoys heights and fast rides or just the leisurely trip non the swings - there is something for you. Additionally, we are looking for adults who would be willing to chaperone with us that day.
As we are heading into the last few weeks of the summer, we want to be intentional about seeking God together and so we will be hosting another summer service with a talk, small groups, and times to have fun!
Calling all students grades 9-12! We are hosting an outdoor movie night just for you at the Whyte's house who have generously opened up their home! There will be a movie, food, fire pit, etc. to enjoy and so invite your friends for this fun evening together. Stay tuned for what movie will be premiering!
Calling all students Grades 6-8, we are heading over to Laser Maxx in Whitby for some competitive games in the dark! The cost of registration covers two games, and pizza in between! Great chance to invite friends!

There is no better way to cool down in the summer heat than a bunch of water games. Whether it be frozen t-shirts, relay races, water balloon fights, etc. this will ensure that you're cool for the summer. This event will take place in the church parking lot; so bring appropriate footwear to run but that can also get wet!
Summer is here and we are excited to celebrate together! Join us for food, games, and a chance to meet and hangout with Pastor Alysha who will be taking leadership over the youth ministry during Pastor Kristen's maternity leave. It’ll be a great night so invite some friends for a great summer evening together!
Get ready for a TWO day student conference for Jr. High & High School students! What could be better than a weekend with friends, amazing food, outdoor activities, and diving deeper in our relationship with God, learning how to GLOW in the world around us? From guest speakers, to live worship, to late night parties!
One of our core values in youth ministry is our partnership with parents making sure that they are informed, always have chances to provide feedback, and have opportunities to reach out for resources when needed. Therefore, we wanted to have a chance to connect with all parents about how things are going at King Street Youth, some updates around Pastor Kristen's upcoming maternity leave, and leave space for any questions or feedback around the ministry.
Attention all junior highs or in other words, those of you in grades 6-8! We wanted to carve out some intentional time to be with you and we know how much you love manhunt and being together. Join us at the church for a couple of hours as we run around in the dark, play some games, and sweat. Invite some friends and come prepared to run and hide. Looking forward to having you - no registration required.
