Child Dedication
We recognize that God gives children as a gift to parents and we practice giving thanks publicly. During our dedication moment, parents affirm their intention to raise their children to know and love God.
Parents will be invited to publicly say yes to these three affirmations:
Is it your intention to set the example and invite your child to follow you as you follow Christ?
Is it your intention to teach your child to read the Bible and pray for themselves so that they are able to know Christ personally?
Is it your intention to teach your child that they belong to a spiritual family—the Body of Christ?
